There is always a before.

I have been consuming massive amounts of Skillshare and YouTube videos about watercolor lately, much of it process-related, and some of it product-related. Since I have recently committed to consuming much of the hoard of art supplies I have pandemic-shopped (and for like 10 years before that..), I have tried very hard to not be precious about things I create, including practice-looking paintings and what I think are a little crummy. You have to start somewhere to look back on. Here is a collection of what I hope are “Before I was a real watercolor artist” paintings.

What I am improving:
I am working to properly execute perspective (which eluded me through high school and the Art Institute), and faces.
