Skills

Collaboration ::

I can work with a variety of team sizes, in a range of roles. Sometimes I’ll drive a project or campaign with a team of contract contributors, collaborate in a managed project, or simply execute a creative vision of a team leader or brand guide on a variety of platforms. Long story short, I’m here to see that the end goal is met, and I apply diplomacy to every decision I make when working on a team. My goal: the cleanest and most efficient execution to effectively communicate to the intended audience.

Creativity ::

With 20 years of making noise on the behalf of my clients, I have the benefit of pulling from the *that’s-been-done-to-death* pile, and using it to inspire new ways of communicating to our world–with its much shorter attention span. With most of our online time being spent viewing marketing viewpoints in a small visual space in our pocket, understanding how to be judicious with that time is crucial. I ask copious questions and like to encourage my clients to look at their project from different angles.

Production ::

Half of my time in the creative space has been spent in agency environments, with a strong requirement of print production skills to ensure that a job goes on the press and stays on press, with the correct physical measurements and color calibrations. I enjoyed the experience of working with highly technical production teams on large scale projects at BRSG Houston, and Richards Carlberg, on clients like Shell, Conoco, and HP. For the past ten years, I have worked as part of the lean core group at Mungo Creative, directly managing my clients’ expectations in project management and Creative Director roles, depending on need. This company has a strong roster of decade+ long client relationships.
